area, is seeking a
Controller
to join its corporate accounting team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a collaborative work environment and is looking for stability, strong compensation, and room for advancement. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (or applicable accounting standards) Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Monitor and enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Coordinate year-end audits and work with external auditors and tax advisors Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred) 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a management or controller-level role Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP/accounting software systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, CDK ERP, etc.) Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities Seniority level
