Senior Android Engineer - Long Term Project - San Jose, CA
Title: Senior Android Engineer Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Project Compensation: $65-80/hr. Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Purpose: Seeking a W2 long term project consultant that can work onsite 3-4 days a week in San Jose, CA. This person will work on interactive, graphics-intensive mobile applications that use a combination of Android Automotive and graphics programming technologies.
Qualifications: 3+ years experience of experience as a Full Stack Android Actively working on android currently Experience with android services, content providers, inter-process communication Kotlin Jetpack compose Android NDK Terminal/linux experience for installing bash/zsh/brew/adb for lower level control emulator or device. Unity C# Nice to have
Experience with Android Studio Shader coding HLSL/GLSL/CG etc Familiarity with gradle, cmake, Maven repo's Familiarity with GIT/Gitlab/Bitbucket/Jira/Confluence/Atlassian Suite Android Automotive - nice to have, (resource overlays, car property service) C++ Figma Blender glTF Experience optimizing graphical UI's and/or 3D content from Unity for android Soft skills
