Our client is a prominent technology solutions provider focusing on innovative and scalable cloud-based applications and infrastructure, primarily serving the government sector to improve operational efficiency and security. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test scalable software solutions using Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related technologies. Migrate existing applications to the cloud and develop AWS cloud-native solutions with services like ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, ELB, ALB, and Aurora RDS. Implement database and data storage solutions using MySQL, Aurora MySQL, and Aurora Postgres. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with testing and security scans using tools such as GitLab, SonarQube, Maven, and Nexus. Automate infrastructure provisioning employing Docker, Fargate, Terraform, and Ansible. Monitor system health, perform root cause analysis, and respond to incidents using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk, and Qradar. Implement authentication and authorization protocols using Kerberos and Okta. Experience Requirements
15+ years in software development with a focus on Java technologies. Minimum 5 years experience in the government sector with understanding of its specific needs. Extensive AWS Cloud Services experience and cloud-native application development. Proficiency in CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, and containerization. Strong background in database technologies and data storage solutions. Experience with monitoring tools and root cause analysis. Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols. Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Rally. Education and Certifications
BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Relevant AWS and DevSecOps certifications preferred. Public Trust Clearance or similar required.
