Senior Windows Core DevOps Engineer , you will lead the design, automation, and operations of core infrastructure services built around the Microsoft ecosystem. This is a senior-level engineering role focused on modernizing Windows-based systems, introducing infrastructure as code across Windows workloads, and ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across our stack. You will: Architect and automate core Windows infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, Windows Clustering, etc.) in a high-availability trading environment. Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD workflows using modern Microsoft-native and cross-platform tooling. Troubleshoot and optimize system performance at the OS, networking, and application level across a large fleet of Windows servers. Define and implement secure baselines, monitoring, patching, and compliance across Windows infrastructure. Build PowerShell modules, DSC configurations, and leverage tools like Ansible, SaltStack, or Terraform with Windows providers to unify automation. Act as the highest escalation point for Windows-related production issues. Partner with other Core DevOps, Security, SRE, and Cloud teams to standardize and scale our Windows platform. Mentor engineers across teams and promote best practices in observability, resilience, and automation-first thinking. Requirements 8+ years of experience with enterprise-level Windows Server engineering and DevOps practices. Deep expertise with DNS, DFS, IIS, and Windows Failover Clustering. Solid experience with automation and configuration management using PowerShell (advanced scripting), Desired State Configuration (DSC), and/or Ansible/SaltStack for Windows. Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts applied to Windows environments using GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Hands-on experience integrating Windows infrastructure with hybrid or cloud-native solutions (preferably AWS). Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform (including Windows modules) or CDK. Strong grasp of Windows performance tuning, debugging, event log analysis, and patching strategy at scale. Background in regulated or high-uptime environments such as banking, Forex, or fintech is highly preferred. Familiarity with SQL Server automation, .NET Core deployments, and Windows Containers is a plus. Comfortable leading incident response and system-level post-mortems for Windows-based production outages. By joining us, you can expect: Hybrid Work Model (2 days working from home). 22 days of Annual Leave (reaching up to 30 days per year based on years service) Comprehensive Health & Life Insurance (from day one!)
