The role involves writing exceptional code, driving architecture and design, collaborating cross-functionally, and mentoring junior engineers. Responsibilities: • Write Exceptional Code: Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend components and systems that power critical workforce management products. • Move Fast, But with Precision: Deliver high-quality features quickly by balancing speed and safety in your code. • Drive Architecture & Design: Own architectural decisions and guide the full product lifecycle, from ideation to production. • Build Elegant Product Experiences: Think creatively about product solutions to tricky design and user problems within the system. • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other teams to gather customer feedback and refine the product roadmap. • Mentor & Lead: Support the growth of junior engineers by sharing your expertise and promoting engineering best practices across the team. • Shape the Future: As an early member of this team, you’ll have a direct influence on team culture, structure, and processes. Qualifications: Required: • A minimum 5 years of experience in frontend development with React or typescript. • Experience with backend technologies: Python, Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Node. • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals. • Comfortable working with systems at scale and can navigate complex technical challenges even as a frontend engineer. • Cares deeply about the end user, product design, and delivering an intuitive, polished experience. • Thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. • Identifies problems, owns them, and creates solutions that have a lasting impact.
