Client Management:
Understand and resolve client issues, ensure quality service delivery, serve as a senior technical resource, and interact with client boards and trustees. In some cases, act as CFO for client funds. Technical Consulting:
Interpret and communicate industry and accounting standards, identify trends, and adapt operational services accordingly. Departmental Leadership:
Define and communicate departmental goals, participate in management meetings, promote integration across business lines, develop staff, and lead projects. Fund Administration Oversight:
Review fund statements, documents, regulatory filings, and work with Tax and Legal teams on complex issues. Operational Oversight:
Ensure high-quality client service, monitor performance metrics, oversee staff resources, and manage vendor performance. Sales Support:
Prepare responses to RFPs and RFIs related to fund accounting. What we need from you:
BA/BS in relevant fields or equivalent experience. Minimum 12 years of operations management or 6-12 years in a public accounting firm with financial services experience. CPA preferred. Extensive experience with mutual funds and investment vehicles, knowledge of security trading practices, and familiarity with relevant regulations. Proven leadership in managing teams and improving operational processes. What we would like from you:
