Responsibilities Define reliability baselines for products and systems and develop monitoring mechanisms to proactively identify risks. Develop diagnostic capabilities and methods to assist in failure mode isolation. Gather and analyze field failure data, including complex and unstructured data. Lead failure investigations (CAPA/FRACAS), driving root cause analysis and implementing preventative and corrective actions. Collaborate with development teams to incorporate lessons learned into new product designs. Prioritize failure and reliability investigations through developed mechanisms. Develop Reliability Centered Maintenance procedures and identify predictive maintenance opportunities. Identify systemic inefficiencies and develop processes, tools, and procedures to improve team workflows. Work with cross-functional teams on critical projects, proposing reliability initiatives, defining scope, milestones, and engaging teams for collaboration. Manage reliability projects independently. Proactively identify solutions to unblock progress and deliver results. Communicate effectively with leadership, presenting regular failure and reliability reviews of product portfolios. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering 5+ years’ Hardware Quality Engineering experience Experience with quality tools and concepts such as 8D, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma, FMEA Experience with Design for Manufacturability, GD&T, measurement tooling and fixturing Ability to travel domestically and internationally Proficiency with Minitab, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in relevant engineering fields CQE, CRE, or CSSBB certifications Experience with ISO9000, IATF16949, ISO13485, and quality system audits Proficiency with PTC Windchill, Reliasoft Synthesis, SQL, Agile PLM, MS Project, Visio, Tableau Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
