We are seeking a
Senior Guidance & Control Engineer
to join our elite R&D team in Huntsville, Alabama, focusing on developing low-cost interceptors for emerging DoD applications. The role involves designing guidance systems for highly maneuverable surface-to-air interceptors, integrating seeker technology, and working across the full guidance loop from sensor integration to flight testing. Responsibilities
Architect, prototype, and implement guidance algorithms for small diameter interceptors Shape optimal trajectories and inform airframe and actuator design Develop integrated guidance solutions for challenging environments and threats Collaborate with aerodynamics, manufacturing, and control experts Translate guidance concepts from whiteboard sketches to hardware-in-the-loop simulations and flight tests Basic Qualifications
Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Seven years of professional experience in guidance, navigation, and control Ability to obtain an active Secret Security Clearance Technical Skills
Expertise in guidance law development, trajectory analysis, and state estimation Experience with hardware-in-the-loop simulation and real-time guidance algorithm implementation Preferred Qualifications
Experience with small missile platforms and guidance system testing from design to flight Company Overview
