Senior Cloud Identity & Access Management Engineer
to build and maintain cloud and on-premises solutions.If you have enterprise experience architecting and implementing Cloud and Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies, consider joining our team of dedicated cybersecurity and identity professionals. The Cybersecurity Operations & Engineering staff provide innovative and automated solutions to integrate IT components across the Enterprise leveraging tools such as Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Federated Authentication, Single Sign On, Conditional access, role based access control and more. Work Model This is a full-time position based in Chantilly, VA or Colorado Springs, CO, which requires 100% onsite work. What You'll Be Doing Engage with a team of subject matter experts to architect, implement and maintain critical cloud and on-premises Identity & Access Management (IAM) infrastructure Work closely with other IT departments and business units to establish secure IAM integrations that meet or exceed cybersecurity requirements Assist with the development of IAM strategy including testing and researching new technologies Assess current cybersecurity configurations and make appropriate recommendations based on security requirements, risk assessment, threat intelligence or emerging trends Where necessary, provide Tier 3 support to help troubleshoot complex issues and develop new custom and automated solutions. Will be a member of the incident response team that actively addresses and mitigates incidents as necessary What You Need to be Successful Minimum requirements for I nformation Security Staff IV : Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study or equivalent experience 8 or more years of relevant experience In-depth, hands-on experience working with IAM technologies such as account provisioning, multifactor authentication, role or attribute-based access control, public key infrastructure, privileged access management, single sign on and federated identity systems Prior experience securing the enterprise by approving, implementing or designing cybersecurity technologies at the network, endpoint or application layers Ability to document, track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to ensure implementation and identification of trends and impacts Ability to document security requirements to protect all information systems and data Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. Microsoft Azure AD/Entra Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Enterprise Identity & Access Management Platforms Federated Identity Providers (IdP) Directory Services Identity Governance
Prior experience architecting secure solutions based on business requirements Demonstrated ability to use custom code and automation to support enterprise technologies How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have one or more of these: Proven experience implementing cyber defensive or IAM solutions to combat highly motivated cyber threat actors Hands-on experience working with Network & Cloud Security technologies to protect enterprise environments, such as: Microsoft Entra/Azure, AWS Identity & Access Management, Enterprise Directory Services, Virtual Directories, Firewalls, privileged access management, LDAP and relational databases Expertise in IAM standards such as LDAP, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, FIDO2 Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 or NIST SP 800-53 Active Security clearance issued by the U.S. government Advanced degree from an accredited program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or other sciences/engineering discipline We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
