This position reports directly to the Vice President of Quality Assurance/Quality Control and is responsible for managing and implementing quality control activities on-site. Responsibilities
Control of documents and records, including nonconformance management and corrective actions. Develop and implement the project-specific Quality Plan. Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope. Lead the 3-Phase Quality Control process: preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections. Collect and analyze inspection data, and maintain weekly logs. Manage discrepancy notices, CAPA, and project-specific issues. Oversee punch list processes and quality initiatives. Review engineering deliverables and coordinate with third-party testing agencies. Participate in ORM meetings, internal audits, and safety meetings. Perform receipt inspections and contract document reviews. Create detailed checklists and perform inspections to ensure quality standards. Resolve quality and commissioning punch-lists, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of construction experience in similar projects with a bachelor's degree, or 15+ years with a high school diploma/GED. Experience in QA/QC management or similar roles in construction projects. Knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System, especially on military/government projects. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to interpret construction drawings and documents. Extensive QA/QC experience, preferred electrical journeyman license or apprenticeship graduate. Abilities
Prolonged computer use and sitting. Manual dexterity, listening, reading, and communication skills. Leadership qualities: leading by example, team building, mentorship, results-driven, detail-oriented. Pay Range: USD $149,840 - $224,760 per year. Employment Details
