This is a Lead Workplace Engineering position at Vice President level, responsible for managing and optimizing the technical environment and end-user experience across various workplace technologies, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction. This position is for a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Network Access Control and 802.1X on enterprise switches. The focus will be on developing lab testing frameworks to validate secure access using Cisco ISE, RADIUS, authentication protocols, and device certificates, enhancing endpoint visibility and compliance across wired and wireless networks. What You'll Do
Develop test plans to certify IEEE 802.1X across various edge devices, including Windows, Cisco Phones, iOS, Android, and others, working with switches acting as IEEE 802.1X authenticators and Cisco ISE as the backend server. Automate test plans using the ROBOT framework, Ansible, and Python to validate IEEE 802.1X interoperability and generate comprehensive test reports with logs. Understand network DMZ designs, certify hardware/software features, and troubleshoot 802.1X functionalities and failure modes. What You'll Bring
Experience in manual and automated functional testing, with proficiency in Python and Ansible. Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Cisco/Nexus hardware. Experience with the ROBOT framework, test case design, and network security protocols like EAP-TLS, RADIUS, and TrustSec. Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, 802.1X configuration, device certificate management, and related security features. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management. Qualifications
8+ years in LAN/WAN network design and certification. CCNP certification or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Python, Ansible, and ROBOT framework. Experience with lab design, hardware/software certification, and PoCs. Knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF), Cisco/Nexus hardware, and security configurations.
