Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible in your community and around the world. In the role of Senior Project Architect, you'll be responsible for:
Leading a multidiscipline team and performing layout and detailing on architectural projects. Independently coordinating work of a multidiscipline team through multiple project phases. Establishing owner/client and internal meetings, and participating in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance. Conducting work sessions at project sites with the Project Manager and other disciplines. Coordinating workload of team members to complete documents on schedule. Reviewing architectural documents for conflicts with other disciplines. Performing QA/QC and technical reviews. Writing and editing architectural specifications. Coordinating with affected disciplines regarding addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders. Incorporating changes into project documents. Leading projects in a dual management role as needed. Providing construction contract administration as needed. Performing other duties as required. Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Architecture. Experience in healthcare, educational, civic, science, and research facilities. Interest or experience in sustainable design/LEED. Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3-D Studio Max. Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience. Registered Architect. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Autodesk Revit and related tools. Strong graphic presentation skills. Experience in preparing architectural contract documents and specifications. Good knowledge of codes and planning skills. Active participation in our employee-owned culture.
