Our Client is seeking an accomplished
Senior Project Manager
to lead large-scale multifamily high-rise construction projects in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex, high-value (minimum $150M) projects of 25+ floors, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strategic leadership, exceptional coordination, and a deep understanding of Miami’s construction landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of multifamily high-rise projects (25+ floors, $150M+ value), from preconstruction planning to project closeout. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project objectives and resolve issues. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA regulations and Miami-Dade County building codes. Utilize project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, AutoCAD) to streamline communication, documentation, and reporting. Identify and mitigate risks, such as material delays, labor shortages, or permitting challenges, common in Miami’s fast-paced market. Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. Deliver regular progress reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and client satisfaction. Navigate Miami’s regulatory environment, including permitting and inspections, to ensure compliance and project success.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects. Minimum 5 years as a Senior Project Manager for a general contractor, overseeing end-to-end project execution. Experience managing multifamily high-rise projects (25+ floors) with a minimum construction value of $150 million each. Proven expertise in managing budgets, schedules, and teams for high-rise residential developments. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technologies specific to high-rise multifamily projects. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and AutoCAD. Familiarity with Miami-Dade County building codes, permitting processes, and environmental regulations. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, PMP, LEED AP) and a valid contractor’s license preferred. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
