RESPONSIBILITIES: The SAP ABAP DEVELOPER (SRM) will work as a member of the SAP development team. The ABAP developer is responsible for delivering ABAP programs related to technical support for SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) functions in the SAP environment. Provide technical expertise for system design, testing, implementation, and support, focusing on realization and implementation phases of projects. Collaborate with other ABAP and functional developers, managing multiple tasks and supporting ad-hoc queries. Utilize SAP ABAP programming tools including custom reports, transaction creation, User Exits/Enhancements, Conversion/Interface Programs, SmartForms/Adobe Interactive Forms, Screen Painter, BDC, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, RFC, Workflows, BAPI, BADI, Web Dynpro for ABAP, and Web Service Development. Analyze business and functional requirements. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation. Interface with Business Analysts/Consultants/SMEs to understand, document, develop, and test interfaces. Ensure solutions comply with architecture standards. Work with the team to identify issues and risks related to design, implementation, and delivery. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues within limited timeframes. Support environment setup and end-to-end testing, including unit testing and documentation. Demonstrate Agile/Scrum methodology as part of the SDLC. This position generally requires over 80% travel to customer locations (Orlando, FL).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
5-10 years of experience as a SAP ABAP Developer with emphasis on SAP SRM. At least 5 years of experience with SAP workflow development. Strong programming skills and hands-on experience with ABAP Objects. Ability to travel 80-100%. Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to excel.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical change management on large software projects. People management and leadership skills, including coaching and conflict management. At least 5 years of SAP Material Management and SRM experience, including Vendor Registration. Knowledge of Finance/Accounting processes, Plant Maintenance, Project System, and related technology. Proficiency in MS Office tools and SharePoint. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with configuration and build management procedures. Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and documenting software defects. Bachelors Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
