Jobright.ai Amazon is seeking an exceptional Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Global Service Compliance team supporting Project Kuiper, an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites providing broadband connectivity. The role involves collaborating with teams to build automated reports, maintain data infrastructure, and develop metrics for performance improvement. Responsibilities: • Collaborating with GSC and stakeholder teams to build automated and dynamic reports for external reporting and dashboards to support internal metrics and KPIs. • Design, implement and maintain data infrastructure including data modeling, ETL pipelines, and ongoing maintenance. • Partner with various teams to build data pipelines from a wide variety of sources using AWS big data technologies (Lake Formation, Glue, S3, MWAA, Lambda, etc.). • Develop automated solutions to minimize manual processes with focus on efficiency and scalability. • Assist in the development of key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement. • Build self-service reporting platforms, establishing automated processes for large scale data analysis. • Understand and write high quality queries to retrieve and analyze data (ongoing reporting and ad hoc requests). Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling • Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred: • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets • Experience with large-scale data analytics and data warehousing • Understanding of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment • Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis • Understanding of AWS Glue lake formation/Lambda/Athena/EventBridge.
