Sr. Epic Business Systems Analyst
in a consulting role to join our engineering team, focusing on data integration with Epic EHR for Digital Health companies. In this role, you will work on developing seamless integrations with Providers using Epic as their EHR. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between partner Epic technical teams and internal solution architecture and integration engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Integrate data from partner Epic EHR instances into the integration platform using FHIR, Vendor Services APIs, and HL7 messages. Collaborate with solution architects, customer success teams, and integration engineers to translate use case requirements into workflows using various integration options within the Epic ecosystem. Create detailed mapping specifications for each integration resource and its corresponding attributes. Utilize the Epic vendor services platform to perform testing and certifications of FHIR applications. Recommend and drive optimizations for Epic FHIR applications to efficiently use Epic FHIR endpoints. Work with Epic vendor services support teams to resolve integration challenges. 7+ years
of healthcare IT experience, with
5+ years
supporting Epic data integration and deployments. Direct experience with
Epic’s FHIR APIs, App Orchard, or Interconnect web services. Strong understanding of
FHIR R4 standards
(resources, terminology, and best practices). Familiarity with
RESTful APIs, OAuth2, and healthcare data interoperability standards
(HL7, etc.). Experience implementing or advising on
performance optimizations
in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of
healthcare interoperability standards
(HL7, FHIR, CCDs, etc.). In-depth understanding of
HIPAA/HITECH requirements, data privacy, and security best practices . Experience with
SQL and database integration . Flexibility to accommodate late evening interactions with partners and remote teams. Bachelor’s degree
