We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Transportation Systems Development Team. This role involves interfacing with enterprise teams to evaluate requirements, design solutions, and develop systems, requiring strong analytical, planning, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop enterprise-grade technology solutions focusing on performance, stability, scalability, and usability. Utilize modern development methodologies with a cloud-first approach, incorporating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Mentor fellow developers on best practices. Lead and participate in application design and development meetings, employing Agile and traditional methodologies. Create comprehensive technical documentation. Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications. Participate in on-call rotation for production support. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with .NET, C#, Core, Worker Services, and background service patterns. Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework Core expertise. 2+ years designing and consuming RESTful APIs with Core and Swagger/OpenAPI. 2+ years building responsive web applications using Core (MVC, Razor Pages) and JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Blazor. 2+ years deploying applications on Azure, including App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Functions. 2+ years working with Git and managing CI/CD pipelines. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure. Knowledge of automated testing, build, and deployment strategies for .NET and containerized applications. Experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platforms. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams. Preferred experience with Transportation, Distribution, Warehousing, or Supply Chain systems.
