They are seeking a Software Engineering Manager for their Financial Crimes – KYC team to oversee the Unified KYC Platform, focusing on technological solution delivery and mentoring engineers to enhance their technical skills and career development. Responsibilities: • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products • Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code • Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs • Performs analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements • Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront • Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards • Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures • Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices • Exhibits relentless focus on software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards • Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank’s technology transformation • Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement • Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience • 6+ years of relevant technical experience • 5+ years of leading a software engineering team • 10+ years of experience as a Java Full stack developer • 5+ years of experience in REST API & Springboot design and development • 5+ years of leading high-performance team, driving onshore/offshore development activities and delivery of complex enterprise systems • Experience in microservices design and development • Experience in agile methodology, and SCRUM • Experience working with geographically distributed teams and managing cross-functional initiatives • Good communication and collaboration skills to interact with internal and external partners • Advanced knowledge of information systems technology and software development processes and tools, especially industry specific applications • Strong analytical, tactical planning and leadership skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate with all parties involved in the product team (engineers, product owner, scrum master, third party vendors, customers, etc.) • Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience • 2+ years of relevant experience • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills including the ability to troubleshoot application errors and debug code in production environments • 3+ years’ experience with .Net Core/C# web applications and web services • 3+ years’ experience working with MS SQL Server relational databases • 3+ years’ experience with MS Azure Cloud • 3+ years’ experience providing technical support for Enterprise-wide applications • 3+ years’ experience with DevOps and Monitoring tools (Jenkins, Git, AppDynamics, Splunk, Datadog, and PowerShell) Preferred: • Experience in Apigee, Istio, Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure and AWS preferred • Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments preferred • Thorough knowledge and understanding of business strategy and how the technical and engineering strategy aligns with this • Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles • Fundamental understanding of algorithms and data structures • Ability to communicate processes and results with all parties involved in the product team, including engineers, product owner, scrum master, third party vendors and customers • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills including the ability to troubleshoot application errors and debug code in production environments Company: At U.S. Founded in 1968, the company is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, with a team of 10001+ employees.
