We are looking for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and services in support of enterprise analytics and mission-critical systems for a Federal Law Enforcement agency. In this role, you will translate complex business requirements into secure, cloud-native architecture solutions, guide DevOps automation, and ensure interoperability across a diverse technology stack. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, evaluate cloud platforms, and provide subject matter expertise in systems integration, automation, and long-term modernization strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead large-scale cloud transformation efforts with lasting national impact. This is a full-time position requiring on-site work five days a week at a client's office in Washington, D.C. An active Top Secret SCI clearance is mandatory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design, architect, and optimize secure cloud solutions in AWS environments for enterprise-scale analytics platforms Develop cloud-native architectures that support data integration, analytics, and automation requirements Lead cloud migration strategies and establish environments (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) across classified and unclassified networks Implement automation for provisioning, configuration, security, and monitoring using DevOps best practices Provide expert guidance on integrating cloud services with analytics tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, ThoughtSpot) Oversee infrastructure security design, patching, and compliance documentation to support governance and ATO processes Perform feasibility analyses and recommend solutions that align with long-term strategic IT goals Ensure cloud infrastructure aligns with organizational policies, cost controls, and technical roadmaps Required Skills: Expertise in AWS cloud architecture, including native services for compute, storage, networking, security, and automation Experience implementing DevOps practices using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Git, or Ansible Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-scale system integrations and automation projects Proven experience establishing and managing environments across multiple enclaves and security domains Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, continuous monitoring, and system hardening Familiarity with cloud governance tools (e.g., Xacta, RiskVision) and experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and cloud migration strategies Desired Skills/Experience: Prior experience supporting federal law enforcement, defense, or intelligence community missions Experience designing cloud solutions that support analytics platforms like MicroStrategy, ThoughtSpot, or similar tools Strong knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and secure enclave management in government cloud implementations Familiarity with data pipeline integration (e.g., Airflow, Redshift, SQL, Python) in cloud environments Ability to serve as a lead architect on large federal programs with classified data requirements Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or SAFe Architect This position requires five days a week on-site at the customer location in Washington DC.
