front-end engineering, UI/UX, and animations . You’ll work on building the
next generation of user-forward ad products
across Discord’s
web and mobile platforms . This is a highly creative role that blends
front-end engineering
with
product design sensibility , ideal for engineers who care deeply about user interaction and performance. What You’ll Be Doing
Craft Polished Interfaces : Own the translation of design into pixel-perfect, high-quality code with smooth animations and delightful interactions React / React Native Development : Build modern UIs using industry best practices for
performance ,
scalability , and
accessibility Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with
Design ,
Product ,
Marketing , and
Engineering
to define and build ad-related features End-to-End Ownership : From requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and maintenance Optimize UI Performance : Ensure interfaces are not only beautiful but fast and accessible to all users What You Should Have
4+ years
in front-end development (web and/or mobile) Deep expertise
in
React
and/or
React Native Strong eye for design and usability; proven track record of
shipping polished UI/UX Experience building
animations
(e.g., using Reanimated or similar libraries) Solid grasp of
performance optimization
and
accessibility
standards (e.g., WCAG) Portfolio, GitHub repo, or demo showcasing relevant front-end and design work Excellent
communication and collaboration
skills Experience working with or building
design systems Familiarity with
ad tech
and ad delivery frameworks Knowledge of
experimentation , A/B testing, and data-driven UX refinement Contributions to
open-source front-end projects Love for Discord and its
