Job Summary: The Cloud Architect will serve as a mid- to senior-level leader in designing, planning, and integrating cloud computing and virtualization systems. This role involves evaluating business needs and delivering efficient cloud-based solutions, including cloud service provider selection, application and data migration strategies, and system integration. The Cloud Architect will provide technical expertise across multiple cloud models and technologies while supporting future scalability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Design, plan, and implement cloud computing and virtualization solutions to support business and technical requirements Evaluate and select appropriate cloud service providers, tools, and technologies Develop migration strategies for applications and data across public, private, hybrid, and community cloud environments Integrate cloud-based systems with existing infrastructure while maintaining performance and scalability Recommend and configure service delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) based on system requirements Maintain technical knowledge of virtualization technologies including containers, hypervisors, and virtual networks Oversee cloud automation, self-provisioning, and scaling solutions Monitor industry trends and evaluate emerging technologies for adoption Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define present and future capacity planning needs Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud computing and virtualization systems Knowledge of cloud service provider architecture, design, and deployment Familiarity with cloud delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment types (public, private, hybrid, community) Hands-on experience with virtualization tools and technologies including containers, hypervisors, and virtual infrastructure Experience with cloud automation, scaling, and infrastructure management Strong understanding of application and data migration tools and techniques Ability to evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for enterprise adoption Powered by JazzHR tTC98AP7ON
