Job Role: Senior Embedded Device Test Lead The Senior Embedded Device Test Lead is responsible for testing and validating embedded systems, ensuring high-quality deliverables. This role involves developing test plans, improving testing methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance testing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in functional and technical discussions to understand specifications and highlight performance issues, maintaining up-to-date test environments.
Identify and implement process improvements in testing methodologies and tools.
Oversee creation and execution of automated test scripts using Python, ensuring quality standards.
Mentor QA engineers in using the embedded device testing framework to boost productivity.
Skill Requirements
Proficiency in embedded device testing methodologies.
Strong Python programming skills for test automation.
Experience with test management tools and frameworks for embedded systems.
Knowledge of QA principles and best practices.
Certifications Optional but advantageous certifications include Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager, or relevant automation testing certifications.
