Pay: $30$32/hour Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite in Seattle) Overview We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product & Insights Analyst to support the company in optimizing product acceptance and ensuring ongoing product quality. This role blends sensory science, experimental design, and consumer insights from a product-focused perspective. Key Responsibilities Design and execute sensory and consumer tests with scientific rigor Organize and conduct shelf-life testing Analyze sensory data and generate actionable insights Develop and maintain databases of panelists and sensory data Support the Sensory Evaluator training program across Starbucks Enterprise plants and suppliers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop descriptor lists and training tools Maintain lab supplies, cleanliness, and documentation systems Manage administrative aspects of multiple concurrent projects Format technical documents using advanced MS Word and Excel tools Build and support consumer panels and monitor panel performance Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sensory science, food science, or consumer research Proficient in data analysis and statistical interpretation Experience in lab environments and product testing software Strong understanding of sensory test methodologies (discrimination, descriptive, affective) Skilled in questionnaire development and consumer behavior analysis Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to train technicians and panelists effectively Top Skills Data Analysis Lab Environment Food Science Consumer Research This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make an impact in a dynamic, consumer-focused environment.
