AMD together we advance Server Signal Integrity and Power Integrity Manager Role AMD is seeking a Signal Integrity and Power Integrity Manager for its Server Division. The individual will work to strengthen the SIPI team’s capability in delivering system-level signal integrity and power delivery network design, as well as supporting EPYC products for customers. The Person As a SIPI manager in AMD’s server platform team, you will collaborate directly with the silicon architecture, package design, and platform teams to influence server product designs. The main focus will be on system-level SIPI design to meet interface timing. During the post-silicon stage, your team will work closely with the electrical validation team to perform SIPI correlation and provide electrical debugging for internal and external customers. The candidate should have experience in: Deep understanding of VRM working mechanisms, including passive and active modeling Board/system-level power delivery network AC+DC simulation for low-voltage/high-current supplies Deep understanding of DDR and HSIO system timing allocation and component impact System-level signal integrity and power integrity, including silicon, package, and board Experience with DDR/HSIO electrical validation is a plus Previous experience managing a SIPI team Electromagnetic modeling of 3-D structures Supporting customers with power integrity issues is a key responsibility Qualifications Experience in analog/logic validation and characterization 8+ years of experience with component and system-level SIPI analysis Experience with DDR4/5, LPDDR4/5, U/R/LR DIMM JEDEC standards, PCIe4/5/6 Experience with hardware architecture Education Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required Location:
