Pay Information $1,608 per week About The Position Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have: - Candidates must possess the required certifications. - Able to care for all patient populations, including pediatrics. Description: This is a travel nursing position in the Emergency Department. The unit has 44 beds and a staff of 115. Day shift consists of 2 charge RNs, 11 RNs, and 3 Medic/EMTs. Night shift consists of 12 RNs, 3 Medic/EMTs, and 1 charge RN. The average patient ratio is 4:1. Equipment includes Level 1 infuser, Abbott Plum pumps, Lucas, IVUS machine, Glidescope, and GE cardiovascular monitoring. Typical procedures performed include IVs, blood transfusions, massive transfusion protocol, fluid resuscitation, chest tube placement, and central line assistance. The unit has a supportive environment with additional resources such as social work, EMT/medics, respiratory therapy, security, and transport. A virtual sitter room is utilized to monitor at-risk patients. The team operates with a family-like atmosphere, emphasizing teamwork and exceptional patient care.
