Our non-profit hospital is situated on 44 acres in New Canaan, CT, currently has 129 beds, and is accredited by the Joint Commission. Enjoy working at our beautiful campus in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team structure.
Schedule
Full-time, Nights: 3, 12-hour shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am), every other weekend, and some holidays.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree, preferred. Licensed RN currently registered to practice in the State of Connecticut. Psychiatric nursing experience with acute care, dual disorder and eating disorder population, preferred. Recent nursing graduates are welcome to apply!
An RN at Silver Hill Hospital is responsible for the following tasks and duties:
The assessment of patients throughout hospitalization. The identification of patient problems. Participating in the plan of care. Implementing and evaluating the interventions to meet the patient's needs. Providing and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
