Job DetailsJob LocationKing George, VAOverviewSCCI is seeking a skilled Simulation System Maintenance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a solid background in AEGIS Combat Simulation System engineering development, including design, development, test and evaluation, lifetime support maintenance, configuration management, and tactical training. This role is critical for maintaining and ensuring the operational readiness of simulation systems. This position may require occasional travel and is in support of future work expected in 2026. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.SCCI offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability benefits, 401k with Company Match, time off consisting of 2 weeks of paid vacation, 48 hours of sick/personal leave, and 11 paid Holidays.Responsibilities:Performing maintenance activities for AEGIS Combat Simulation SystemsLeading the development and review of combat system elements of design, acquisition, and installation plansConducting test and evaluation of simulation systems to ensure they meet operational requirementsProviding lifetime support maintenance to ensure systems are functioning optimallyManaging configuration changes and updates to simulation systemsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of simulation systemsDeveloping and delivering tactical training programs related to simulation system maintenanceEssential Skills and Experience:Must be a U.S. Citizen and havean Active Secret Security ClearanceHigh School diplomaThree (3) years of experience in AEGIS Combat Simulation System engineering development to include design, development, test and evaluation, lifetime support maintenance, configuration management, and tactical trainingDemonstrated ability to develop and review combat system elements of design, acquisition and installation plansMust meet DOD 8570 OR successor requirements for Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I certification. IAW DOD/DON CSWF requirements, Contractor employees assigned to an IAT Level-I designated position with SECRET access will be required to have a favorably adjudicated SSBI completed every 5 yearsStrong understanding of simulation systems engineering principlesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication skills, both written and verbalPreferred Skills and Experience:Demonstrated expertise in scenario development and scriptingProven ability to operate and maintain complex systemsSCCI is committed to providing a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to meet the needs of employees and their families.
