Over 2 years ago Audition for the 2022/23 Season Smuin Contemporary Ballet is hiring! We are currently auditioning for male-identifying dancers for our 2022/2023 season. Smuin offers a 37-week contract beginning July 25, 2022, with approximately 65 performance opportunities per season. Minimum Requirements: Candidates must be 5’10” or taller. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Please send your CV, photo, and video link to
audition@smuinballet.org . Include Name/Audition 22-23 in your subject line. The video should include up to 3 minutes of center work and classical, contemporary, and partnering performance samples; video not to exceed 10 minutes. Smuin Contemporary Ballet is a San Francisco Bay Area organization in its 28th year, founded by Michael Smuin in 1994 and led by Celia Fushille since 2007. The company performs works by its founder and established choreographers, and encourages the works of emerging choreographers, pushing the boundaries of contemporary ballet.
