Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data integration and ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions to meet business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL and SSIS for efficient data integration and migration. Implement data pipelines and workflows in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting. Monitor and tune Snowflake performance for optimal data processing and query execution. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across the data warehouse. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Snowflake and SSIS-related issues. Stay updated with Snowflake features, best practices, and industry trends. Document data models, processes, and workflows for future reference and training. Required Qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Snowflake Developer or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security. Solid understanding of SQL and hands-on experience with SSIS. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration best practices. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI (preferred). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications
Snowflake certifications (e.g., SnowPro Core Certification). Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience with version control systems like Git.
