Work location: Cincinnati, OH - remote.

JOB DESCRIPTION Data Engineer & Analyst
Position Description: • Maintain and enhance data engineering flows for Turbine Airfoils business unit projects. • Rebuild outdated data pipelines supporting Turbine Airfoils reporting in collaboration with analysts and data engineers. • Define data engineering and visualization requirements across multiple projects. • Perform data engineering in Python and Redshift SQL within a Dataiku environment. • Develop Spotfire visualizations and additional data engineering as needed. • Offer consulting and training to users of developed reports and those performing their own data wrangling. • Potential travel to sites as needed. • Learn additional data transformation/orchestration tools/products (e.g., AWS Glue, Snowflake) and visualization tools/products (e.g., AWS Quicksight) as business standards shift.
Requirements: • PL/SQL • Dataiku (Exposure to other data transformation/orchestration platforms is a plus) • Python • AWS Redshift • Spotfire • Basic Statistics On/Offshore: • On-Shore: EC Data, potential exposure to more restricted data
