Manager, Social Impact
supporting
the Social Impact and Sustainability team,
you will be trusted with overseeing the operations and strategic direction of one of Alcon's charitable Foundations. This role ensures effective administration of charitable contributions aligned with Alcon’s philanthropic priorities, including eye care access, education, and community engagement. The role also partners cross-functionally to identify opportunities for strategic giving and build awareness of the Foundation’s work across the organization. In this role, a typical day will include: Planning and executing community outreach programs that support corporate social responsibility goals Managing and promoting employee volunteer programs and initiatives Building and maintaining relationships with local non-profits, businesses, and government representatives Representing Alcon at local community events, fairs, and activities to promote corporate social responsibility initiatives Organizing and managing financial giving programs and grant-making initiatives Monitoring and tracking key performance indicators related to community programs Collaborating with internal communicators to effectively promote company programs both internally and externally Providing administrative support for corporate social responsibility events, community projects, and initiatives WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs) The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 5 Years of Relevant Experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience in nonprofit management, public health, social impact, or a related field Experience working with third-party grantmaking and giving platforms (e.g., Benevity, Blackbaud, CyberGrants, Salesforce) to manage donation workflows, impact reporting, and nonprofit vetting. Strong program management and organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally. Familiarity with product donation programs, patient assistance workflows, or healthcare nonprofit operations preferred.
