We are looking for a skilled System Engineer to help contribute to our Mission Engineering team environment with other systems, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions that include a background in all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle. You will be part of a talented team of engineers demonstrating superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure, and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.
Responsibilities
Interact with other people using good verbal and written communication skills Work independently or with a small group Be flexible in a highly dynamic and ever-changing environment Provide in-depth analysis and technical support of a large, distributed system written in Java Perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, integration, and user-support for a large code baseline Follow specifications in order to develop or modify functionality within the code Assist with design, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation Interface with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards and improve overall efficiency of the system Design, code, test and implement tools for automation Qualifications
Command and control system application development Previous experience with message translation software Automated test and pipeline development experience Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms Experience with Software Integration testing including developing automated test scripts Experience with Risk Management Framework/STIG/Fortify mitigation Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying with containers; experience setting up a container environment Education & Certifications
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject preferred 0-2 years' related experience Minimum Active SECRET Clearance Required
$75,000 - $82,500
