Software Dev Engineer III Seattle, WA Onsite Contract Up to $74.29/hr Software Dev Engineer III / Java / Onsite / Seattle, WA Our client is an e-commerce powerhouse company. Based out of Seattle, WA, they are looking to hire a Software Dev Engineer III on a contractual basis. In addition to e-commerce, this client is a focused-on retail, aviation, and robotics. The Content Platform team is looking for a Software Development Engineer. who will act as first level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with merchandising applications. Contract Duration: 3-Months+, potential to extend Required Skills & Experience A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is required. They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure Desired Coding Skills Perl, C/C++ and/or Java Other desired technical skills include Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX. What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities Developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, JAVA), performing SQL queries, improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges. Responsibilities also include working alongside development on Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems.
