Position Title: Firmware Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: 100% Remote (Must be willing to travel to Johnson City, TN for 1 week onboarding; hotel and airfare reimbursed)
Position Overview
Client, located in Johnson City, TN, is seeking a Firmware Engineer for a contract role. The engineer will participate as part of an international project team.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of software and firmware solutions for the Client product portfolio Work in an agile development environment focused on delivering robust customer solutions Collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders Solve technical problems and learn new technologies as needed
Requirements
BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with C/C++ Willingness to learn and apply new skills Experience with object-oriented design methodology Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
