The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop technical solutions that address complex operational challenges. Responsibilities: • Build highly available, secure, distributed systems in a microservice architecture. • Design, develop, test, and maintain systems that represent the real-world intricacies of logistics entities, such as shipments, pallets, appointments, and SKUs. • Obsess over metrics to identify issues and high-impact problems that are worth solving. • Work closely with product managers, support, and operations teams to distill complex operational problems into elegant technical solutions. • Be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code with every PR, every day. Qualifications: Required: • 1+ years of experience writing software and a strong engineering background. • A love of simple, well-tested code that is easy to extend and hard to break. • The ability to convey technical ideas in common terms to business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers alike. • A self-starter attitude. When you see a problem, you solve it. • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Typescript, Python, Java, Kotlin, or Ruby. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
