In this role, you will contribute to Project Kuiper, Amazon's groundbreaking low Earth orbit satellite broadband network, designed to deliver fast, reliable internet to communities worldwide. This exciting position involves solving technical challenges related to the manufacturing of satellites, ground equipment, and associated ASICs. You will have the opportunity to translate business and functional requirements into actionable deliverables, and build quick prototypes or proofs of concept in collaboration with various technology leaders. Key Responsibilities: Develop manufacturing software systems used in the production of the Kuiper satellite fleet and associated ground systems and ASICs. Design and implement end-to-end capabilities for manufacturing orchestration across production lines. Create a secure manufacturing software system that protects intellectual property and assets. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop, qualify, and deploy innovative solutions. In this role, your contributions will directly impact the manufacturing process of the Kuiper satellite fleet and its supporting infrastructure, ultimately enhancing connectivity for millions of people. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years in system design or architecture, covering reliability and scaling. Proficient in at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
