Jobright.ai Ring is part of the Amazon Key team, focused on enhancing customer experience through innovative technologies. They are seeking a full-stack Software Development Engineer to support web development for various projects, delivering cross-team initiatives and implementing new architecture using AI/ML. Responsibilities: • Translate product requirements for our web applications into well-designed, well-documented, and well-maintained front-end code. • Our tech stacks include mostly native AWS services, using AWS CDK, Next.js, and React.js single-page applications. We operate several web views inside other native apps. • We may be asked to help with some away-team work with other Amazon teams both inside Amazon and external e.g., within the AMZL/LMTech or Delivery and Recipient Experience (DEX, REX) teams. • Solve difficult engineering problems with elegant and practical code. • Work across teams to help define engineering best practices and standard, and provide technical mentorship to other members of the engineering teams. • Design and build software for mobile, front end clients and server systems. Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Preferred: • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Company: Ring is an outdoor home security that provides homeowners a line of preventative security doorbells and cameras.
