Responsibilities * Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS and Snowflake Own the architecture and optimisation of our data warehouse (Snowflake) Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using tools like AWS Glue and dbt Design and build real time data pipelines (e.g. using Kafka, Tinybird etc.) Collaborate with analytics and product teams to provide clean, reliable datasets for reporting and analysis Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards, including SOC 2 requirements Manage and enhance our BI tools (Tableau, Superset) to empower stakeholders with self-serve analytics Monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and observability across systems Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and growth teams to support data needs. Qualifications: * 47 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role Strong hands-on experience with AWS stack (S3, Glue, Lambda, etc.) Proficient with Snowflake, including performance tuning and best practices Experience designing and managing data models and transformations using ETL/ELT frameworks Solid understanding of data governance, security, and access control mechanisms Skilled in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Superset Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Mage etc.) Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting.
