Design and develop high-speed network technologies at ByteDance. Build software and tools to enhance the reliability and availability of high-speed network infrastructure. About the team
ByteDance Networking focuses on network architecture, SDN, network virtualization, switch software and hardware co-design, and high-speed networking, creating hyperscale data-center networking solutions powering apps like Douyin and TikTok. We design, build, and operate global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet high availability, scalability, and performance needs, offering valuable software development and network operation experience at scale. Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Network Engineering, or related fields. Work authorization in the country of employment at hire and ongoing. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Go. Interest in high-speed IP networking, hardware-software interaction, and hardware offloading. Preferred Qualifications
