Quality Assurance Automation Engineer III
Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA - Hybrid 3 days onsite each week
3-6 months contract to hire
Pay Rate: $55.00 to $65.00 per hr.
We need a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer III to develop automated tests that validate the functionality of application systems across various platforms, including web, mobile, and mainframe.
Primary Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated functional and API tests Validate production readiness for every release Integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline (Harness used, but any CI/CD is acceptable) Feed automated test results into Q-test (test management tool) Collaborate directly with the development team (18-person team, Agile-based, 2 Scrum teams) utomate functional and API test cases for E&D front-end and backend systems Maintain and enhance a test suite of 300-500+ cases Participate in frequent release testing (~4-6 per month) Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of experience in test automation and/or software development Or Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in test automation and/or software development 5-7 years of QA experience, ideally in automation C# (within .NET ecosystem) - primary development language Selenium - UI test automation Postman - API testing Q-test - test case and results management Strong functional and regression testing experience (300-500 test cases per regression cycle) Bonus Skills:
Experience with Harness CI/CD (any CI/CD experience will suffice) Leadership/people management skills - potential path to team lead/manager upon conversion Prior experience in banking/financial services (not required)
