As a Software Development Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in building the next generation of Amazon Music personalization. Your work will impact millions of global customers as they discover and enjoy music and podcasts. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy large-scale distributed systems. Collaborate with scientists, product managers, and engineers to influence strategy and define the team's roadmap. Drive system architecture and uphold best practices to ensure quality products. Mentor and develop junior engineers to foster growth within the team. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of design or architecture experience, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling of systems. Proficient in at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. The salary for this position ranges from $129,300 to $223,600 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package. This position will remain open until filled.
