English (Required) Work Shift 1st shift (United States of America) Please Review The Following Job Description Take a key role in the development of financial applications providing consumers with advanced tools to manage their financial life. The primary responsibility involves creating RESTful Java APIs for data rendering to the front end. This position requires on-site presence four days a week, with one day remote. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Collaborate with product teams, analysts, and developers to craft technical solutions for complex business problems. Design, code, test, debug, and document complex programs. Suggest improvements to existing software. Publish builds through pipelines for deployment to AWS. Lead and ensure quality in the work of other developers and analysts. Gather and analyze client requirements to design complex application solutions. Create detailed specifications for complex programs. Follow J2EE design principles. Brainstorm new features and train team members. Provide application support, including complex problem resolution and on-call assistance. Coordinate with iOS and Android developers for API design. Integrate REST APIs with backend components. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree and 4-7 years of experience or equivalent education and training. Deep knowledge of information systems and IT best practices. Understanding of key business processes and IT strategies. Project management and problem-solving skills. Ability to mentor less experienced team members and communicate complex information effectively. Preferred Skills And Competencies Core Java/Spring, AWS: 4+ years of experience. Experience designing REST microservices in AWS (ECS Fargate, SQS, S3). Proficiency with configuration tools like GitLab, Maven, Gradle. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Database experience (DB2, MySQL), PL/SQL queries. Microservices architecture (Spring Boot). AWS services: EC2, SQS, S3, ECS, Elasticache, RDS. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Docker. Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or ELK stack. Experience in startups or financial industry is a plus. Experience with delivery tools like Postman, Swagger, SOAP UI. Bachelor of Engineering/Computer Science. Excellent communication skills.
