Software Engineer - Automation and Emerging Technologies

Job Duties Design, develop, and implement software solutions using various database packages and programming languages (JScript, C#, ASP.Net, XML, ODBC/ADO compliant databases, SQL Server) to control automated guided vehicles. Create, review, and validate scripts/code within the database. Define logic and blocking within vehicle databases and other features. Complete assignments as part of a multidisciplinary project team. Utilize web services to integrate the customer’s existing systems within the API. Provide solutions supporting warehouse management system (WMS) and automation software integration, SQL Server implementations, enterprise integration technologies, and API-led architectures. Collaborate with project teams and customers to address technical questions and support server and client applications. Work directly with customer resources to install and configure applications. Minimum Qualifications 2-4 years of related experience Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering Occasional travel (0-5%) Occasional overnight stays (0-5%) Ability to drive a personal vehicle for company business ( Prior programming experience Proficiency in SQL programming Proficiency in JScript and/or JavaScript Professional communication skills Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of C#, JSON, XML, SQL, and experience with ASP.Net Work Authorization: Crown will only employ individuals legally authorized to work in the United States.
