Software Integration Engineer
to providing RF engineering support to our customers in the
96th Test Wing
at
Eglin AFB, FL .
Work Location:
Onsite; Eglin AFB, FL
Job Status:
Full-Time
Required Qualifications And Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in an applicable discipline. 3-10 years experience Must have a DoD security clearance at the Secret level. U.S. Citizenship is required. Experience with conducting automated tests, analyzing results, and validating system performance against defined specifications, identifying defects and performance bottlenecks. Strong proficiency in programming in Python and C++ on Linux systems. Competency developing for real time operating system (RTOS) environments. Solid understanding of test automation principles and software testing methodologies. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers) and RF testing methodologies. Experience with conducting automated tests, analyzing results, and validating system performance against defined specifications, identifying defects and performance bottlenecks. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for test automation. Understanding of hardware-software integration and debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers). Familiarity with Hierarchical Data Formats (e.g., HDF5).
Responsibilities To Include, But Not Limited To
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Linux and Python to communicate with test equipment Interface with test equipment via Ethernet and Serial communication protocols. Design and execute test plans for hardware and software systems. Create modular and reuseable test automation frameworks to support scalable testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements. Document test procedures and results for traceability and compliance.
