Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EHS Specialist to support our Environmental Health & Safety programs. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace through hands-on monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update compliance documentation for safety programs including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Safe Work Permits, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV). Conduct routine environmental monitoring and safety inspections to ensure regulatory compliance. Respond to incidents such as injuries, spills, and near misses, and initiate investigation protocols. Support industrial hygiene assessments and calibrate EHS monitoring equipment. Participate in audits, Kaizen events, and EHS committee meetings. Prepare and present EHS performance reports and data to site leadership. Required Skills & Expertise: OSHA compliance Risk assessment EPA regulations Hazardous waste management Health & safety inspections Safety management and training Quality assurance and PPE protocols Occupational health and hazardous materials handling Compliance auditing and reporting Additional Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
