This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials such as SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or SLP - School, seeking a contract role for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Citrus Heights, CA.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students experiencing speech and language challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Provide targeted therapy sessions focused on achieving speech and language objectives Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of therapeutic outcomes Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care Involve and educate families to support student progress outside of therapy sessions
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in the state of practice
