Sr Data Scientist - GD07AE / Data Scientist - GD08AE Overview:
The Hartford seeks a skilled Data Scientist to innovate with Generative AI, focusing on models (text and image) and NLP to develop impactful solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, understand their needs, and translate them into data-driven AI solutions. Contribute to transforming our business with cutting-edge AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored AI solutions. Integrate AI solutions into existing processes and systems. Design and develop GenAI solutions such as summarization, prompt enhancement, and classification. Utilize technologies like VertexAI, Google Cloud Natural Language API, and RAG frameworks for prototyping. Create evaluation pipelines using metrics, human feedback, and LLM assessments. Maintain and improve models with machine learning and deep learning techniques. Ensure AI solutions are accurate, reliable, and performant through testing and analysis. Stay updated with AI advancements and apply them to foster innovation. Requirements: Masters in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. 5+ years in data science and AI development. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (preferably GCP). Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with GenAI and traditional AI solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the insurance domain and regulatory environment. Certifications in GenAI, machine learning, or Google Cloud. Experience in end-to-end deployment and validation of GenAI solutions. Additional Info:
This position is full-time, mid-senior level, and requires US work authorization. The salary range is $110,720 - $166,080, with comprehensive benefits. Note:
