We are currently seeking to hire a
Senior Linux Embedded Software Developer
to become an integral part of our development team! You will design and test software built on Yocto Linux using Qt. This position is tied to a project expected to last 6 months minimum.
Wage Range:
$7,500 to $12,500 per month (salary exempt position)
The wage range shown herein is not fixed and may vary from these amounts due to the candidate's prior relevant experience, level of education, additional relevant capabilities, certifications, and other bone-fide factors.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field. EXPERIENCE: 6+ years in real-time software development and testing, integrating software with real-time operating systems, developing and troubleshooting communications, device drivers, and IO interfaces. Experience developing and deploying firmware updates and software in a Qt development environment. Knowledge and experience with embedded Linux, microcontrollers, and other embedded interfaces, including SPI and I2C. Experience programming C++ in a Linux Environment Proven track record of meeting or exceeding embedded project deadlines Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to mentor other team members Excellent development documentation skills Other duties as requested
Responsibilities:
Support all development and modification of Yocto Linux embedded software from requirements to production and commercial deployment with functionality including GUI, controlling software, algorithms, drivers, and integrations with subsystems. Plans and executes efforts to design, develop, upgrade, port, and qualify embedded product software Design with a focus on testability, robustness, and performance
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform intricate hand manipulations and typing Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Sitting or standing for extended periods of time is required
