Job Description
General
- The primary focus will be to assist the Sr. Project Manager and Project Manager on critical elements such as schedule, financials, quality, safety, and coordinating with the project team to support the overall project goals.
- Responsible for the project team members such as Project Engineers, Assistant Project Engineers, and overseeing their performance throughout the project duration.
Get Work
- Support the Client Executive, Sr. Project Manager, and Project Manager in project pursuits.
- Assist with RFP responses and interviews as requested.
- Build and maintain Client & A/E relationships.
- Support and assist in reviewing and negotiating owner contracts (with corporate reviewer) as needed.

- The Assistant Project Manager supports the financial and operational success of the project.
- In conjunction with the project team, this role helps organize and maintain the budget, safety standards, and quality while meeting schedule and project requirements.
- Maintain relationships with clients and A/E firms throughout and beyond the project cycle.
- Understand that the Sr. Project Manager / Project Manager and Sr. Superintendent / Superintendent work as an integrated team, with the Superintendent leading on schedule, quality, safety, and logistics, and the Project Manager focusing on financials and technical issues.
- Assist in resolving project issues and work with senior management on major concerns.
- Support the development and maintenance of the Operations Report.
- Coordinate, interact with, and direct field labor, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and architects.
- Participate in scope review meetings and enforce subcontractor agreements.
- Monitor material management and deliveries per schedule and compliance with submittals.
- Manage MEP coordination drawings and verify subcontractor as-built documents monthly.
- Document manpower production rates and address schedule-impacting issues.
- Assist with cost management, including requisitions, allowances, contingencies, and cost reports.
- Coordinate weekly meetings with foremen and subcontractors, including preparing minutes.
- Ensure safety compliance by obtaining and recording safety documents from subcontractors and assisting the Site Safety Manager.
- Possess knowledge of construction/engineering activities, terms, and concepts.
- Read specifications and documents to assist in construction planning and requirements.
- Review subcontractor scope outlines and support project scope meetings.
- Verify existing project conditions and incorporate into schedules and logistics.
- Support the development and execution of Quality Management, Equity, and Program initiatives.

Reports To
- Sr. Project Manager, Project Manager, and/or Client Executive
- Collaborate with Preconstruction Managers, Estimating, and Purchasing teams during preconstruction.
- Work with senior leadership and project teams to achieve company goals.
