Responsibilities Core Responsibilities
Follows comprehensive instructional design process from needs analysis through pre-class preparation. KPIs and Operational Excellence: Contribute to the achievement of the TLC KPIs and operational excellence. Follows comprehensive instructional design process from needs analysis through pre-class preparation. Analyzes and researches latest industry tools to ensure digital training and distance learning is innovative, engaging, and on the cutting edge of training technology. Manages digital learning and distance learning projects to enhance learner experience in the classroom and in the field. Project Role: Assists in projects of moderate complexity, identifies business opportunities and creates a project plan to meet strategic objectives and outcomes. Portfolio Support: Assists in planning and road mapping, including analyzing technology components for vendor support and cybersecurity compliance. Works on developing in-house applications including monitoring product license compliance. Deliverables: Assists in designing Subsystem end-to-end flow diagrams, use cases, data models and Systems Development. Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation. Delivers value through regular releases and frequent customer testing. Desktop and Infrastructure Support: Assists in planning and deployment of all corporate IT software and hardware upgrades. Provides technical support to L&I and HR staff as well as our customers who attend meetings and classes at TLC. Works with instructors and/or subject matter experts to develop media training concepts, including the latest multimedia training tools (e.g., VR, AR, etc.). Promotes collaboration and develops solid working relationships with instructors, subject matter experts, digital tool development vendors and other business partners. Business Relationships and Management: Supports effective lines of communication between L&I, HR corporate IT and the operating areas to ensure proficient and timely execution of projects and initiatives related to systems/software training, evaluation and testing. Oversee the safeguarding of the authenticity, confidentiality, and proper handling of all digital learning materials. Ensures that all checklists and audits that they are responsible for are accurate and completed on time. Conducts field visits and attends meetings in various Company locations. Qualifications Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Adult Learning Education, Curriculum Development or related field and minimum three years relevant experience, or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Adult Learning Education, Curriculum Development or related field and minimum two years of relevant work experience. Relevant Work Experience
3 years of full-time work experience, to include two years of IT, Digital Learning, LMS management, required. Computer proficiency, required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel on all levels, required. Knowledgeable in basic engineering design and principles, required. Ability to work independently, providing oversight, direction, and developmental support for the department, while also collaborating with SMEs and various departments, required. Capable of exercising independent judgment and making sound business decisions, required. Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and flexible enough to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and achieve business goals, required. Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service while fostering a collaborative and team-oriented work environment that aligns with the Company's Corporate Values, required. The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
